Who will win the 2009 (Trinidad and Tobago) International soca monarch?

Who is your favourite for the 2009 international soca monarch? Iwer George? Faye-Ann Lyons? Blaxx? Bunji Garlin? Skinny Fabulous?

Here are the songs

I think the competition is between Faye-Ann Lyons and Iwer George.

Faye-Ann has the most popular song (Meet Super Blue) on the airwaves right now. Just imagine if she brings her father, Super Blue on stage!

Iwer George knows just what to do to succeed at that particular competition. He knows how to make that "hand in the air" cliche work for him. The melody of the song Ready is also powerful.

I can't imagine Bunji doing well with his current tune but you can never count this man out. He knows the tricks.

Will it be a fair competition? That's left to be seen. Remember last year most people thought Faye-Ann should have won yet Bunji did.

How about the groovy soca monarch. Zan? Zoelah? Devon Matthews & Ziggy Rankin?

Well I think Fay-Ann Lyons has it hads down. UNLESS it's between her and Bunji Garlin. Then she has compitition. But, I think Kerwin Du-Bois goes over looked. That guy is a soca genious and deserves more recogniton.

I am not a 100% Fay Ann but I do admire her style and performances and I must say if she was not pregnant this year she would have killed it. But inspite of all of that, Fay Ann did a spectacular job once again. Last year she should have won but that to was spectacular but this was real good. If she does not get this something wrong and I even texted from NY to make sure she gets my vote.
