I had not been back to trinidad for Carnival in 12 years and not much has changed. I had a blast. Marchel Montano can reinvent his band name a million times they will still be the best. I am in love wqith Sherwyn Winchester and Kerwyn dubois has shown me that he is not only a crooner he is a fair to fine soca artist. I just wish we could get that same spirit and enthusiasm for the culture here in the states that we trini's used to have when we lived back home. It is a shame to know that we would rather buy a ticket to journey home and not do the same when the artist are here to perform, nut then again we wouldn't be Trini if we didn't try to get something for nothing or storm a party or two .
