everytime i come down it;s basically the same fetes during the week,on the weekend it's jus king n queen/oecs monarch n if u dont wanna go to that,there is nothing else,u go to rodney bay,there is nothing happening,we need more fetes for the carnival.when carnival monday done could u imagine it's half day the following day but by 7pm everything is done not a fete or party to go to,but we wanna attract more persons from foreign to come down,i've brought a few but seems they're more interest in vincy mas now.i reside in barbados n every year the artiste would release a song or two(thats one artiste) at the beginning of may and crop over is in august,some songs are really sweet n some are crap,i can go further n tell u they already had a big sold out fete with krosfiya last night 6/5/09.guys i get bored when i come back to my land n cant get to do much,also we need more police on the streets to protect revealers n the public and allow the carnival finish bought 7pm n not 6,back in the 80's i remember as a youngster carnival would some times end about 9/8pm almost every year(last lap).i do hope there's an improvement this year but ask for our music we've reach the standard with t&t and bds,but we cant get to promote our music like they do.

Yes, the crotch thing, not so hot but I think u miised the point all together. I know it's hard but concentrate on his comments and not his pic. He makes some very valid points and I tend to agree with them.I know times have changed but we need to get the old carnival vibe back. Wishful thinking perhaps....but who knows may be possible.

I AM A FOREIGNER AND WILL BE TRAVELING TO ST. LUCIA FOR MY VERY FIRST CARNIVAL EXPERIENCE! I WAS JUST LOOKING ON THE EVENTS PAGE AND DID NOT SEE ANY FETES LISTED. I ALSO LOOKED AT OTHER SITES AND DID NOT SEE ANY. I AM SURE THERE WILL BE SOME ARTISTS THERE, HOPEFULLY. BUT AFTER READING THIS POST I AM KINDA FEELING DISSAPOINTED ALREADY! I'M USED TO T&T CARNIVAL, SO ST. LUCIA WILL HAVE SOME BIG SHOES TO FILL!
MAYBE MORE YOUNGSTERS NEED TO GET INVOLVED IN PLANNING SO YOUR CARNIVAL CAN IMPROVE EACH AND EVERY YEAR! JUST A SUGGESTION....AND YEAH, THE PIC WAS PRETTY BAD.....BUT ONLY CAUSE IT'S BLURRY!
