well i've always found it helpful to first sing what you know and then re-write a song you love with your own lyrics when you have that done you only need to change the chords. hope it helps and that is where all the money is-for example: All of Destra's songs when she wrote Bonnie & Clyde where written by Kitch's son Kornel. I don't know if he still does now, I think he's part of Machel's HD group. He's a drummer and they are close frens just like Patrice,Nappy and Zan
