Aruba soca music
by: Mantius

Thanks for sharing.

Sure. I will look into the Aruban vibe. Having been to Aruba, I love the culture and realise that Arubans love soca.

But the same way you added your opinion here, it would be wise of Aruban soca artists/musicans to promote themselves on socafreak.com. I would love this very much. It is very easy to do so. They can include information about their band, submit lyrics, biographies, etc. as long as it is related to soca music.

All the best!

Sweet Soca Music
by: Bryan D'Lyon

I agree that every Aruban Soca artist should promote themselves more internationaly so every Soca-music lover would know the quality of Soca from Aruba. They limit themselves to the Aruban Market only, while they have all the Talent & Quality to become well-known abroad. Bands like "Le Groove", "Youth Xtreme", "BMW", "OREO", "Impac", "NBO", "Climax" to name a few, releases new Soca Albums every year for Carnival season but it dies as soon as the Carnival is over and then it's till the next year you'll hear from them again. The Aruban folk has this mentality that Soca should be played only during the carnival season(jan-feb} and they don't see Soca as a Music Genre. The only Socaband that i'm aware of that promotes themselves the whole year through anywhere possible is "Le Groove". I'm an Aruban living in Holland and i want to hear more Soca-music from all over da world, BIG UP!!!!!
