Soca Gold 2008
This section is dedicated to Soca Gold 2008 as well as earlier years.
My Thoughts
Personally, I think it's a very good soca compilation and a great CD to buy and keep. Most of the biggest soca hits are featured here. There are a few tracks I think are missing but all in all a good compilation.
With the advent of the internet almost everyone is looking to download music for free. Well here's one way to make a contribution to soca music and get a good product in the process.
To me, nothing beats having an actual physical soca album. Sites like Amazon also give you the option of paying about 99 cents to download individual tracks from this album.
This Soca Gold 2008 section also gives you the option of commenting on the yearly album. Do you feel that the songs deserved to make it? Do you think that there are better songs out there that deserved to be on? Feel free to share your thoughts on the ever popular soca music album.
Soca Gold claims to be a compilation of the biggest soca hits for Carnival, "the soundtrack to Carnival". Let us know what you think. Let us know what are your favourites.
