Soca Chutney Radio Program - Vancouver

The program will be on Astral Radio 650 AM on Thursdays at 8pm. It will be a one hour Soca & Chutney only music program featuring all the Soca we can find, Chutney we know., news from the Caribbean and around Vancouver. The behind the scene Manager and host is Orvis Noel, and the Music is Spun by Dj's CARL SOUND VIBES,NASTY JAG AND JUNIOR (pops).The format of the show will involve advertising partners presenting their products and services to the Caribbean and African communities. It will also target our youths betwwen the ages of 18-35 years old highlighting our partners offering skills and jobs training programs in the areas of Automotive skills training, Hospitality,tourism and travel agents skills training jobs apprenticeships, and arts & music schools scholarships opportunities. Our intent is to deliver this Soca-Chutney program to our constituents as a holistic and meaningful tool to their overall development and happiness and not only focus on dance and party and whine and jump up weekends.Our youths deserve and expect much more from us the elders of Vancouver community and the world.
