Soca 2009, Much better than '08

It seems like everyone stepped it up this year. Last year I was in Trinidad for the whole of Carnival season and there were only a few good songs (Breathless, Rum in de Morning, and Chippin' (which synergy wore out)). I'm not there this year, but it seems like there is much more competition and creativity.

The funny thing too that I realized is that sometimes the songs that make these lists don't play on the radio as often. Usually there are about 5 or so songs that we hear over and over all day.
