Rene' "Rayne" Mc Intosh was born on the 3rd of March, 1991, in the village of Woburn, on the tiny Caribbean island of Grenada, to Dexter Mc Intosh and Camerlita John. At an early age, Rene’ attended the Woburn Pre School. She later moved on to the Calliste Government School; where in 1998, as the youngest participating contender, she won the Miss Calliste beauty pageant. Rene’ then transferred to The St. Louis Girls R.C. School. Later on, she attended the Anglican High School, where she was an active member of the Drum Corp and the Secretary of the RBTT Young Leaders. After graduating from high school, Rene’ attended the Theophilus Albert Marryshow Community College, there she held the position as Secretary of the College’s Students Representative Council.

Rene’ grew up primarily with her aunt, Maylive; however, she later lived with her favourite aunt, Diana Mc Intosh, who was very influential in her life. As a child, Rene' showed interest in dancing, music and singing; she was the youngest member of her church choir, and also a member of the “Spyceland Dancers”. At the tender age of five, Rene' was already singing the lyrics to her favorite Soca artistes’ (Destra Garcia and Allyson Hinds) songs. As time elapsed, she began writing these songs on a special notepad, and performed them on a daily basis. Her brothers, Marcus and Marquiste; though annoyed by her constant “singing”, were always willing and ready to be entertained by their sister. As Rene' grew, her musical talent also grew from strength to strength; and eventually, with the help of Producer, Kevon "Springs" Alexander, she was finally given the opportunity to showcase her talent.

In 2010, "Rayne" will be finally introduced to the music world. She is ready… and she is waiting to lift off to another level… Her unique voice and musical talent will make her a force to be reckoned with globally.
