I was fortunate to attend a recording session in Brooklyn, New York with a new soca artist from Praslin who goes by the name of Gozilay (Julius Peter). The song was produced by Kevin Charles also of Praslin. I was very excited to witness talented St. Lucians write and produce good music. Kevin Charles is currently a PhD candidate and will not be doing much music in the near future however he assured me when his studies are over he promised to take St. Lucia by storm with calypso and soca music. So look out for Gozilay ‘s new tracks the hot one is “ St. Lucian Massive” very nice well produced tune. All the best to St. Lucian Music.
