Today is Carnival Sunday,and the Express Newspaper headline is predicting a win for "Meet Super Blue"Why is it that you have to look "grassroots" in Trinidad & Tobago to be "bigged Up" by the syndicate of DJ's and SocaBands? This nonesense keep happening year after year.

So why can't it just be that Faye has the better song? Destra didn't even place in the top 3 at soca monarch. Is that to do with looking "gras roots" too? No. Meet Super Blue is simply a nicer song in my opinion. There are parts of Destra's bacchanal that sound as if there is no tune.

Faye Ann's song is much better than Destra's song. Destra needs to stick to soca and stop trying to make it R&B or some other crap music. The beginning of her song is good, then it declines after that. And yes, I've heard many comments that her song doesn't appear to have many lyrics.
