It would appear, at least on paper, that the judges were biased towards the participant of the host country, however, the only way to avoid any accusation of treating, perhaps the organisers should have judges from varying Nationalities. Food for thought!!!!!

I am from SVG but live in the UK, i have attend many miss carival shows and the two most honest judgeing miss carival i ever witness was in 1987 and 1993. What i would love to say its time that the carinval committee bring in new judges from other Caribbean Islands. I seen many times when SVG didnt desreve the crown. otherwise other islands would stop take part.the only time i saw miss SVG should get the grown and didnt get it was in 1997.and the most bold face cheating i ever saw was in 2005 SVG didnt deserve it.
