TRINIDAD's Royal Music family
by: Anonymous

This song is Fay-Ann Lyons-Alvarez's tribute to her father who mentored her, but he's had problems with addiction for some years. It's her way of reminding the world of what he really is, what he stands for...Trinbago authentic music. By lyrically stating that "I'm not my fadder", it's a clever way of stating her individuality, but reminding all that she is so proud of her roots.

By already winning the Power Soca, Groovy Soca & People's Choice on Carnival Friday, and most likely the Road March [the song played the most at the judging points by Carnival bands] today, Carnival Monday, and tomorrow, Carnival Tuesday, Fay-Ann is cementing her family's Calypso pedigree. ie. BLUE BLOOD...TT Musical Royalty. Between herself, her husband Bunji Garlin, her famous father, SUPERBLUE, and her Mom, Lady Gypsy...we in Trinidad can only be proud, proud of what they have given us, over the years.
An incredible mirror, in which to see our own uniqueness. Nuff Respect!

Greatness
by: Ronnie

Great job Fay Ann, you reminded the world who Super Blue is. Being a kid when Super Blue reigned is a fading memory, but your "Meet Super Blue" dedication to him sparked our brain cells to remember what we know Trinidad and carnival is about....One Unique People and Family.
God's Blessings to you and your family.
