Hey, thanks for the support. Apart from Good Hygiene (Smelling Clean) being a great entertaining song it also has a strong positive message. It's serious as well. A paradox.
This song is different, like you've never heard me before. Those who are very close to me know that I can be very playful and fun, in a childish way. This song captures my fun side. In this song I play a character similar to that of an old (maybe drunk) father.
I believe this is a great way to get away from the usual topics that is sang about in soca music and the regular sound. You can't sound the same every day. It gets boring. The challenge is to keep re-inventing yourself as an artiste.
I wrote Good Hygiene one morning and recorded it that same day. It was released that same evening. This is unprecedented for me. I see this as divine guidance.
This release has gotten many great reviews, particular from DJs in the US. It will definitely mash up the place this St Lucia carnival season! It's made for the stage. ;-)
I have some really huge tunes coming. My friends have said that one of them should capture the road march and soca monarch title. Look out for that.

Are you all serious, i dont want to be little the song but seriously do wei want to be more competitive regionally and internationally or we just want the same silly stuff come on people...mantius you can do better than that...we need to show people out there that we St Lucians have talent...this tune definitely does not depict that...sorry but thats my honest opinion people may call it negative but the point of comments is not only for nice things but constructive criticism
