Loving Antiguan Soca

Had the opportunity to go back home (Antigua) for Carnival last year ( for the first time in 8 yrs) and let me tell you I had a Blast....My Husband and children also had a blast along with some friends who joined us on the trip. The music to me is ranked at the Top for soca in the caribbean ( At this present moment). Every yr u wanna hear something different and something that you can put in the cd deck and play and still have the same feeling of how u felt when u first heard the songs (AND THAT I GOT AND STILL EXPERIENCING) songs from singers like Claudette Peters who is One Talented Diva whose voice is so beautiful, Tian Wynter, i call him mr smooth, also Loreana Davis i Think thats her name who had an awesome song and she had a fabulous voice to go with it ... when she came out and said BABY it gave me goose bumps... i still hum that chorus (one and one makes two baby me and you) well im a married woman so of course i fell in love with it ...this young lady i understood it was her first year and she wowed me vocally. Such strong vocals , i truly hope shes still producing music because she has Natural talent. I hope all Antiguans that are living Abroad come home to give support to our OWN... ANTIGUA CARNIVAL 2011 AINT MISSING ME!
