I currently reside in the US and I must say that I'm inlove with most of the soca music for the 2009....One of my favorites by far is Rum & Roti By Da Mastamid & Patch......I love listening to Red 96.7 fm every chance I get.....GOOD JOB!!! so far that is.
When they drink they rum, they only want roti... Come for roti, come for roti...

A friend of mine (ah Trini) told me that they don't like the song from Mastamid about de roti.....They think that the song is racist.....I on the other hand don't necessarily think so.....I like it.....although it could be viewed as racist....if one was to look at it in a 'negative way.' I am a negro...yes negro.....and I love roti.....my mother who is a 'full grown' negro knows how to make it to perfection....I used to help her make it.....It's one of the best dishes on earth....lol
