My personal view of calypso is that i am around from the 50's up till now and i will say that the youth really have our culture in high esteem, we have to take pages from there grandfathers of the music world they made a difference in the 50's but the beat hasnt changed its just the tempo and as a Trinbagonian once u have the rhythm in your mind no one can stop us so the soca is what everyone dream of and this year is the best of all lots of new singers but its the beat that goes on and on. 2K9 was the greatest year.
